On Monday, October 31st, the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program held a spooky celebration. Students were invited to our office in the SERC building for lunch, candy, and a fun activity. After the popularity of last year’s outdoor Halloween meet and greet, we were thrilled to host another in-person event.

Mix and Mingle

This year’s Halloween event included self-discovery. MBS executive coach Abbe Rosenthal, MA, PCC, led an exercise in which students could learn about their own personal leadership style. Using the DiSC behavior assessment tool, students mingled and assigned each other primary personality traits. This tool can help you understand your behaviors as a leader and learn how to use them to your advantage.

All Treats, no Tricks!

Not a single student left empty-handed, regardless of whether they were participating in Halloween festivities. Some students came in fun costumes, and everyone received treat bags filled with candy. They returned the favor by giving us something valuable as well—ideas for events to host next semester!

Our next event, Virtual Friday: Mindfulness Session, will be held Friday, November 11th. Register for this discussion by visiting our events page. You can also follow us on Twitter or LinkedIn to stay up to date.
