This course is an introduction to problem solving techniques in Horticulture and Turfgrass Science/Management. An interactive case study format will be used to study various aspects of plant species and cultivar selection, plant/environment interactions, horticultural and turfgrass soils, crop management principles, horticultural and turfgrass IPM, plant/pest interactions, and agribusiness management principles. Topics will first be introduced through lectures and then developed further through individual study and group presentations of selected case studies for each topic area.
