Information Technology- Social/Digital Media Design

Overview

Interested in a career in Social Medial Design with a focus on designing customer experience, digital and social media marketing, digital marketing/business intelligence, predictive modeling, and content management? Think Social Media Design. This program provides a unique approach to analyze how to think about social customers, how to engage them, and how to design a framework for social and digital strategies. Students will be taught the principles relating to social/digital media design and information technology, management and planning, team work, communication skills, and fundamentals of making proper financial decisions.

Admissions Requirements

Admission requirements include a bachelor degree and GRE. Work experience is a plus (but not required). Students without a technology background,  may need  to take the following prerequisite courses: 17:610:550 Introduction to Information Technology, or the equivalent as a first step. See here for more information about this course and proficiency requirements.

Program Requirements

For the Master of Business & Science (MBS) degree students take 19 Credits in Business + 24 Credits in the Sciences.

Students are required to take at least one of the Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing courses and are strongly recommended to take both.
