Fundamentals of Systems Engineering for Engineering Management
(Cr. 3)

Course Description:

This course focuses on fundamentals of both engineering management and systems engineering, respectively. Management topics include those as related to technical features; quality and performance; staffing; budgets; and outsourcing. Students also evaluate different management models and learn various approaches to situations that may be encountered. For systems engineering, students learn how to develop and design system architecture based on stakeholders’ needs.
