MBS Externship Exchange

In an era of data-driven decision-making, a team of MBS Externship Exchange students took on a puzzle from CGI, one of the largest IT and business consulting firms in the world.

One of the popular features of the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program is our Externship Exchange Program, a cornerstone of experiential learning. On April 16th and 23rd, 2024, Dr. Karen Bemis, Assistant Director MBS Externship Exchange Program, and the team of Advisors hosted the Spring 2024 Externship Lighting Talks.

Through the Rutgers MBS Externship Exchange program, students exercise classroom knowledge and skills in real-world situations.

One of the many unique features of the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program is our abundant externship exchange program. A highlight of experiential learning, the externship exchange program partners students with corporations to gain first-hand experience in their fields.

Through Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) Externship Exchange program, students are matched to corporate-sponsored small projects in teams ranging in size from two to nine students each semester. Far from "problem + ingenuity = solution" simplistic, the MBS Externship Exchange, which continues to grow exponentially, is a great success story.
