The Rutgers MBS in Regulatory Science prepares students for careers in the fast-growing regulatory affairs sector in the pharmaceutical, food and consumer products industries. Through our program students gain the knowledge and skills to be strategic partners in these industries through their expertise in the intricacies of global regulations, product development and marketing in these industries and the drivers of profitable businesses.
Students also have the opportunity to study the technical foundations of their industries including formulation, testing and manufacturing including specialized topics such as dermaceutics, fragrance and flavor technology and clinical trials. Alongside technical expertise, the program builds essential business skills in finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, intellectual property, ethics, regulatory affairs, and artificial intelligence (AI), empowering graduates to drive innovation at the intersection of science and business.

Academic
It is strongly recommended that applicants possess a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical biology; students with undergraduate degrees in a field other than chemistry must have completed two semesters of organic chemistry.
