Celebrating the Women of Rutgers Professional Science Master's (PSM) Program

This month, we are celebrating amazing women across disciplines, around the world, and who--in general--have made the world a better place.

Today, we celebrate the women of Rutgers Professional Science Master's (PSM) program!

In 2020, Rutgers PSM celebrated its tenth anniversary, and this spring will mark one decade since the first Master of Business and Science (MBS) degrees were conferred to 12 graduates. Of course, neither the PSM program nor the MBS degree would exist at Rutgers without the vision and dedication of MBS co-founder and executive director Deborah Silver, Ph.D., who wrote grants, recruited faculty, and ultimately secured the funding necessary to give life to the program we now affectionately (and simply) refer to as "MBS." (Silver, by the way, has a fun Q&A in the archives).

After 12 years, our program has grown to include a rich body of expert instructors and dedicated staff who help support our ongoing expansion. This spring also marks ten years since the first MBS degrees were conferred! Women of MBS --from A to Z--we couldn't do it without you. Thank you today and every day!
