MBS Holiday Party 2025

From the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree team, happy holidays to our community!

Members of the MBS community gathered on December 8th for a festive celebration at the Rutgers Club. The event brought together students, faculty, staff, and alumni for an evening of great food, music, and connections as the semester came to a close.

Attendees were treated to a festive photobooth, where they could take home photos!

The celebration also included reflections from MBS leadership. Kathleen Cashman-Walter spoke about a revered feature of her course, “Principles of Leadership and Communication,” where students learn about leadership first-hand from a leader of their choice. She asked, "What are you doing to prepare yourself to be the best version of you?” She also challenged all attendees to step outside their comfort zones and meet someone new during the evening.

Attendees also heard from Deborah Silver, Executive Director of the Professional Science Master’s Program. She wished everyone a joyful holiday season, expressing appreciation for the MBS community.

Special thanks to Kelly Montgomery, whose coordination and planning made the evening memorable, and to all who joined and made this night one to celebrate.

MBS students, alumni, staff, and faculty were also encouraged to write down a holiday wish for 2026 and received special chocolates to take home.
