On April 25, 2026, the Master of Business and Science (MBS) Degree Program joined the Rutgers Day celebrations with a booth at the Busch Student Center Multipurpose Room. The table was hosted by Constance Anders Woolley, Senior Program Coordinator for Admissions and Enrollment, Alexandra Sollena, Administrative Assistant for Admissions and Enrollment, Brenda Rodriguez, Student Success and Engagement Specialist, Lars Sorensesen, Cybersecurity Coordinator, and MBS student workers, who welcomed visitors, answered questions, and shared information about the program.
Started in 2009, Rutgers Day is a free, day-long celebration of all things Rutgers, featuring performances, tours, exhibits, and hands-on activities. Rutgers Day is held rain or shine. Although festivities moved indoors in 2026 due to the weather, that didn’t stop the MBS team from having a great time at the Busch Student Center.
The MBS booth combined program outreach with fun, hands-on activities for attendees of all ages. Visitors stopped by to learn more about the MBS degree, connect with MBS team members, and pick up some MBS swag.
One of the activities we offered at our booth included an interactive engineering activity . Participants were challenged to use their creativity and problem-solving skills to build a model strong enough to hold a phone using toothpicks.
Rutgers Day was an opportunity for MBS to connect with the broader Rutgers community, engage families and future students, and showcase the program’s spirit of innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
