University Librarian’s Symposium Series on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

We are excited to announce the next installment in our University Librarian’s Symposium Series on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education. Rutgers faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us for AI in Higher Education: Ethical and Legal Considerations. Through presentations and dialogue, this symposium aims to advance a shared understanding of how universities can harness the benefits of AI while upholding the ethical principles and legal obligations that are foundational to higher education.

The hybrid program will be held on Tuesday, November 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Alexander Library’s Teleconference Lecture Hall. There also will be an option to participate remotely. Because space for in-person attendance is limited, we ask that you consider remote participation if you are unable to stay for the entire event.

Launched last year, the University Librarian’s Symposium Series engages experts from across the university to explore timely and relevant topics. Last year’s events on AI in teaching and learning and on AI in research received overwhelming responses, and in-person registrations quickly reached capacity.

Please visit the event page on our website to view the agenda and register.
