WIA Cafe: Click, Chat, Comply - How Bots Are Guiding Users Through a Government Website

The speaker for this interactive event is Angie Born, a seasoned expert with over 20 years of experience in user research and UX design. Angie began her career in usability consulting, later expanding into service design. Her professional journey includes roles at a large bank, a small B2B software company, and currently, she is back in agency work at Liip, where she focuses on web applications and large-scale websites.

In this talk, Angie will explore the evolving landscape of digital government services. As public services increasingly move online, the need for intuitive and user-friendly access points becomes more critical. Enter the government chatbot—a conversational interface designed to streamline access to information, answer public queries, and guide users through complex bureaucratic systems.
