The Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree had strong representation at Suppliers' Day! Hosted by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC), Suppliers' Day is the leading global event for cosmetic and personal care product development. The NYSCC stands as the premier professional association for the cosmetics and personal care sector in the New York tri-state area.
This year, Suppliers' Day took place on June 3rd and 4th in the Javits Convention Center located in New York City, welcoming over 11,500 attendees and 675 exhibitors. MBS team members (including representation of our Personal Care Science concentration) attended, engaging with prospective students, reconnecting with current students and alumni, and forging valuable connections with other professionals in the personal care science industry. The MBS team at Suppliers' Day included Abbe Rosenthal, MA, PCC, DYL Certified Coach; Jay Goldring, PhD; Alycia John, MA, ACC; Kelly Montgomery, Program Coordinator for Events; and Constance Anders-Woolley, Program Coordinator for Admissions and Enrollment.
Suppliers' Day is renowned for its exceptional networking opportunities, a crucial component for both students and professionals. Attendees also had the opportunity for hands-on formulation experience through the Future Chemist Workshop, a tutorial and practical workshop led by an industry expert. During this year's workshop, led by Cosmetic Chemist Ava Perkins, participants were provided with equipment and ingredients to formulate a sunscreen.

MBS also hosted a meet and greet at our booth. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff came together to meet in person, sharing their MBS experiences, offering valuable advice, and strengthening the MBS community.

Suppliers' Day will return in May 2026!
