The holiday season is a time of festivities and joy. On December 14th, The Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program hosted our annual holiday party! We invited members of the PSM program to join us at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center for a night of great food, conversation, and memories.
It was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and share achievements and aspirations. Professor Kathleen Cashman urged students to take this opportunity to make new connections, encouraging attendees to talk to at least two new people that night. PSM Executive Director Dr. Deborah Silver delivered a heartfelt speech, thanking our faculty, staff, and students for making PSM a wonderful family.
As attendees entered, they each wrote down a wish for the new year. All wishes were displayed together to show off goals and aspirations.
In addition to our indoor setup, we also offered an outdoor heated tent filled with music and dance!
But the celebration didn’t end there. On Monday, December 18th, we held a virtual celebration for students who could not join us in person. Led by Professor Kathleen, students broke into breakout rooms and shared the answers to intriguing questions, such as our proudest accomplishments of the year. Attendees were also sent SnackBOXes beforehand to munch on throughout the night.
From the PSM team, have a happy and healthy holiday season!
