Join Professor Mark Burgess and Courtney Harris for this marketing guest lecture.

Where marketing meets molecules, this lecture will explore how the valuable tools provided by MBS have influenced Courtney’s work as a Personal Care Scientist. Explore the intersection of storytelling and science as she unveils the art of ever-evolving your formula for professional success.

Background

Courtney's passions for health/wellness, empowerment, and innovation have permeated her academic and professional backgrounds. In 2014, she obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State. In conjunction with her undergraduate studies, she conducted Vitamin D Hormone Deficiency research at J&J.

This interest in biomedical wellness evolved during her work experience as a CRA at IQIVIA. As a self-proclaimed "Professional Student," her voracity for learning continued with interests in R&D, clinical functionality, business intelligence, marketing research, and library sciences.

In 2021, Courtney received her MBS in Personal Care Science from Rutgers and joined Colgate-Palmolive as a Rotational Scientist. She now works within the North America Personal Care I&S Team to support the development and rollout of Cleansing Liquid Products.
