The Rutgers community is invited to the inaugural symposium for QUASAR – Queer and Allied Scientists at Rutgers. This symposium is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate the contributions of queer scientists working in the biological and physical sciences across Rutgers-New Brunswick. The event will feature a unique combination of scientific and biographical talks from queer faculty and trainees, an exciting keynote presentation from Dr. Elle Lett, and a panel discussion focused on mentoring and growth across the career spectrum.

The event will occur in the Life Science Building Atrium/Auditorium on Busch Campus, April 5th, from 10am-4pm. Free lunch will be provided for all registrants! Please register here. All are welcome! Students/trainees interested in giving a short talk should register by March 22nd

If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to the organizers, Drs. Brian Daniels (b.daniels@rutgers.edu), Troy Roepke (tr246@sebs.rutgers.edu), and Jim Millonig (millonig@cabm.rutgers.edu).
