World Information Architecture Association (WIAA) is hosting this event, and the Rutgers MBS program is supporting it.
The speaker for this interactive event is Malek Sadek. Malak is a doctoral candidate at the Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London and part of the Enrichment cohort at The Alan Turing Institute. She also holds fellowships at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Technology and the Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence at Cambridge University. Malak also works as a research lead at AIxDesign and is part of the teaching team for the ‘Human-Centered Design Engineering’ and the ‘Responsible Engineering Design Innovation’ modules at Imperial College London.
In this talk, Malek will give an overview of conversation design and conversational AI and how different IA roles can get involved with this rapidly expanding field, as well as the value that each role brings to the table. She will also talk about how IA in conversation design works, and some of the ethical considerations to keep in mind.
