Overview
For project managers, keeping up with the latest project management techniques is key to consistently delivering meaningful results. This Project Management Professional (PMP)® training course will expand your skill set and prepare you for certification. Microsoft Project 2019 software is included with enrollment.
You will be trained in several critical areas, including forecasting, risk management, project recovery, and resource allocation. You will also learn how to use Microsoft Project 2019 for tracking and reporting needs. By course completion, you will be able to apply these project management tools to your next project. This course also meets the educational requirements for Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification so that you will be fully prepared for the exam.

Requirements
Hardware Requirements:
- This course must be taken on a PC. Macs are not compatible.
Software Requirements:
- PC: Windows 8 or later.
- Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
- Microsoft Project 2019 (software included in enrollment)
- Microsoft Word (not included in enrollment).
- Windows Media Player.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.
Other:
- Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.

Prerequisites
You should have at least two years experience managing projects or complete the Essentials of Project Management course.
This course will also prepare you for the PMP Certification Exam. Student who wish to take the PMP Certification exam will need to meet one of the following sets of requirements to take the exam:
Set #1:
- A four-year degree
- 36 months of leading projects
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
Set #2:
- A high school diploma or an associate degree (or global equivalent)
- 60 months of leading projects
- 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
