The process to get a course waived is detailed below. "Waiver of a course" means that the faculty accepts prior work by the student was satisfactory to meet a program course requirement. The waiver excuses the student from taking the required course but does not lessen the credits required for graduation. The student will still need to complete 43 credits in order to graduate.

  1. Collect the following information:
    1. Name and course number of MBS course you want to waive
    2. Justification to support the waiver request (eg. prior coursework, previous work experience)
      1. A formal description of the course (ie. syllabus or catalog description)
    3. Formal proof of grade in the course (ie. unofficial transcript)
    4. Resume
