Hae Chang Gea is a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Rutgers University School of Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1993. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization and a board member of the International Journal of Reliability and Safety. His work has twice been awarded “Best Technical Paper” at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Design Automation Conference. His current research focuses on design optimization with uncertainty.
