Description

Receive an introduction to the roles played by the legal systems in interpreting laws and regulations, adjudicating disputes, and advancing policy.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, understand:
- The genesis of the alcohol beverage regulatory scheme in the U.S. and how these laws and regulations are designed to protect consumers and regulate the development and growth of alcoholic beverage businesses
- The interplay among different public and private legal and regulatory systems and their role in protecting consumers from unsafe practices in connection with alcoholic beverages
- The steps businesses must take to navigate laws and regulations, including the tools they use to promote responsible behavior and business and consumer-friendly outcomes
