Description

This course is a certification preparation course with a twist. In the cybersecurity employment world, certifications are important to have.  Two of the most sought-after entry-level certifications in the cybersecurity field are the Google Cybersecurity Certification and the CompTIA Security+ certification.  This prep course is going to lead to you having both.  Using the Google mini-courses that comprise the Google certification as study materials, CompTIA-specific resources, and material crafted specifically for the MBS cyber cert course, you will complete your Google Certification by the end of the course and be ready to sit for the CompTIA Security+ exam.  Coverage includes common cyber frameworks, controls, common attacks, assets, risks, vulnerabilities, indicators of compromise, a grounding in networking, tools like SQL and Python programming, malware, phishing, SIEM and IDS tools, and much more.  The course will feature a Canvas portal and monthly live check-in classes
