This course is a certification preparation course with a twist. In the cybersecurity employment world, certifications are important to have. Two of the most sought after entry level certifications in the cybersecurity field are the Google Cybersecurity Certification and the CompTIA Security+ certification.
This prep course is going to lead to you having both. Using the Google mini courses that comprise the Google certification as study materials, CompTIA specific resources and material crafted specifically for the MBS cyber cert course, you will complete your Google Certification by the end of the course and be
ready to sit for the CompTIA Security+ exam. Coverage includes common cyber frameworks, controls, common attacks, assets, risks, vulnerabilities, indicators of compromise, a grounding in networking, tools like SQL and Python programming, malware, phishing, SIEM and IDS tools and much more.
- Be prepared to sit for the CompTIA Security Plus certificate by reviewing pertinent materials and using the Google Cyber Certification as a guide and prep resource. At the end of the course the student will be prepared to sit for the Security+ certification and will have earned their Google Certification for Cyber Security.
- Students will learn not just the specifics and content of the targeted certifications (GCC, Sec+), but also the ideas and fundamentals of the psychometrics and assessment of all standardized tests. The student will understand different methods of assessment, reliability, validity and how tests are constructed to aid them in increasing their own test performance.
