Looking ahead to the Constitution’s next 250 years, this session explores how enduring constitutional principles may apply to emerging challenges in AI governance, data privacy, and digital commerce. Students will connect these questions to the course’s central theme: the Constitution was designed in part to enable a functioning commercial system, beginning a centuries-long conversation between law, the Supreme Court, technological change, and the evolving American economy.
