MBS At Suppliers’ Day 2026

The Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree had strong representation at Suppliers’ Day!

Suppliers’ Day, hosted by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC), is the leading global event for cosmetic and personal care product development. The NYSCC is the premier professional association for the cosmetics and personal care sector in the New York tri-state area. This event is a valuable opportunity for MBS students and alumni in our Personal Care Science concentration to gain exposure to industry trends, network, and take part in experiential learning.

The MBS team, represented by Abbe Rosenthal, Jay Goldring, Kelly Montgomery, and Constance Anders-Woolley, hosted a booth where we shared information about our Life Sciences concentrations, including our Personal Care Science concentration.

Hosted at the Javits Center in New York City, Suppliers’ Day offers students and alumni alike an opportunity to see exhibitions and new technologies, watch educational panels and talks, and network with employers and the wider MBS community. Attendees also had the opportunity for some hands-on formulation experience during the Future Chemist Workshop.

The MBS team also hosted a meet-and-greet at our booth, bringing together students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Many thanks to all who joined! We can’t wait to see you at the next Suppliers’ Day!

Learn more about our Personal Care Science concentration on our website. In this concentration, students learn the fundamental processes and applications of personal care chemistry and formulation—including raw materials, bioactives, emulsions, and the biology and function of skin and hair. We offer opportunities for experiential learning, such as personal care product formulation workshops and field trips through the course  "Cosmetic Quality, Safety and Global Regulation."
