Requirements, Considerations, and Approval Process
- Only matriculated Rutgers graduate students in good academic standing (i.e., GPA > 3.0) are eligible for MBS courses.
- Do not contact the course instructor for permission to enroll in the course. All SPN requests require review and approval by MBS Graduate Director.
- Submission of an SPN request does NOT guarantee you a spot in the course. Final approval is by the Rutgers MBS Graduate Director ONLY.
- Students are encouraged to have a backup course/plan.
- If approved, the student will be emailed the special permission number from ReqSPN@docs.Rutgers.edu.
- If not approved, the student will be notified before the semester starts.
Process
Email your request to reqspn@docs.rutgers.edu.
Include the following in the body of the email:
- Full Name
- RUID
- Course Information (Title/Course #/Section #/Index. #)
- Name of Graduate Program
- Name of Academic Advisor
- Academic Advisor's Email
- Indicate if you are affiliated with IJobs or NIH training program.

- Resume
