MBS Externship Exchange

At the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program, we believe the best way to learn is through hands-on learning, and nowhere is that more evident than in our Externship Exchange Program. Our externship program offers students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings. On April 22nd and 29th, 2025, externs took the stage to present their semester-long projects at the Spring 2025 Externship Lightning Talks.

One of the popular features of the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program is our Externship Exchange Program, a cornerstone of experiential learning. Through Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) Externship Exchange program, students are matched to corporate-sponsored small projects in teams ranging in size from two to nine students each semester. Far from "problem + ingenuity = solution" simplistic, the MBS Externship Exchange, which continues to grow exponentially, is a great success story.
