One of the most valuable assets to any MBS student is our fantastic alumni network – a robust community of engaged individuals who often return to share their wisdom.
February 2, 2021, saw the return of the Annual UXPA/NJ Chapter Design Slam, a fun, interactive event where randomly grouped participants must quickly solve a non-hypothetical design challenge—the details of which are kept secret until the start of the event.
As of this summer, students pursuing Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree have a new academic concentration to consider: Product Design, an offering created in light of industry trends and workforce demands. Officially commencing with the Fall 2022 semester, the new concentration is the result of months of research and coordination, and is the first degree in product design offered at Rutgers University.

All month long, we will be celebrating and honoring women in STEM--women who have inspired us, supported us, and paved the way for our achievements and those of the next generation. Thanks to all women in STEM - past, present, and future - for making our world a better place!
This month, we are celebrating women who have made history, who are making history, and who—day by day—are making our world a better place and improving the human condition. Today—during International Women’s Day (IWD)—we celebrate DE&I leader Kelli Kombat. With this year’s theme of #BreakTheBias, there is no topic more appropriate for IWD than diversity, equity, and inclusion.
