In an era of data-driven decision-making, a team of MBS Externship Exchange students took on a puzzle from CGI, one of the largest IT and business consulting firms in the world.

At the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program, we have a large community of dedicated alumni. Our alumni span geographic locations and industries, and they frequently look for ways to give back to the PSM program.  

On November 30^th, 2022, ChatGPT launched and undeniably changed the workforce. With over 100 million users active weekly, this large language model-based chatbot launched a new era of artificial intelligence (AI) innovation across industries.  

One of the popular features of the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program is our Externship Exchange Program, a cornerstone of experiential learning. On April 16th and 23rd, 2024, Dr. Karen Bemis, Assistant Director MBS Externship Exchange Program, and the team of Advisors hosted the Spring 2024 Externship Lighting Talks.

On April 19^th, 90 Master of Business and Science (MBS) students gathered for an insightful session led by MBS Executive Coach and Assistant Director Abbe Rosenthal, MA, PCC, DYL Certified Coach. Rosenthal was joined by Liyana Johan, Customer Success and Education Manager for Jobscan. 

Experiential learning is a hallmark of the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program. Perisa Azhir, a Drug Discovery and Development Concentration student, took this to the next level when she traveled to Guangzhou, China.

Being a graduate student is no easy task. Many Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program students juggle academic classes, outside work, and personal responsibilities. April is National Stress Awareness Month, a month dedicated to bringing awareness to the negative impact of stress on our everyday lives.

At the Professional Science Master’s program, we provide opportunities for students and alumni to come together to share insights, learn, and forge lasting connections. One of the communities that the MBS has been fostering is Applied Food Science and Technology and Global Agriculture.
