At the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program, we believe the best way to learn is through hands-on learning, and nowhere is that more evident than in our Externship Exchange Program. Our externship program offers students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in practical settings. On April 22nd and 29th, 2025, externs took the stage to present their semester-long projects at the Spring 2025 Externship Lightning Talks.

On April 14th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program welcomed students back for another lively Master of Business and Science (MBS) Happy Hour event. Hosted by Jay Goldring, the event was open to students from all concentrations, creating an exciting opportunity for interdisciplinary networking. Faculty members also joined us for the night.

On March 27th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program hosted an International Alumni Panel moderated by Abbe Rosenthal. The event brought together a diverse group of Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree alumni to share their personal experiences of navigating the workforce as international students.

The Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree’s Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) is one of the most valuable resources available to students in our program. To facilitate this, we hosted a Day of Learning—a chance to give MBS alumni and scientific professionals new perspectives and ideas.
