Say hello to the newest Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree students! On January 30^th, we welcomed new MBS students to the spring 2026 semester at the Rutgers Lifelong Learning Center. This event brought together incoming students, faculty, and staff to kick off the semester and introduced the resources, experiences, and community that define the program. The session focused on helping students clarify their goals, connect with peers, and understand how the MBS degree supports their path from who they are today to who they want to become in the future.

Members of the MBS community gathered on December 8^th for a festive celebration at the Rutgers Club. The event brought together students, faculty, staff, and alumni for an evening of great food, music, and connections as the semester came to a close.  

Attendees were treated to a festive photobooth, where they could take home photos! 

Last week, students in the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree were invited to a weekend filled with innovation, team-building, and fun!  

The Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree welcomed new and returning international students, who bring diverse perspectives, talents, and experiences, for a lunch!

On September 5^th, 2025, the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree team warmly welcomed our new students to the fall 2025 semester! After hosting an online orientation in late August, we hosted an in-person orientation at the Zimmerli Art Museum on College Avenue Campus.

To kick off a new semester, the Professional Science Master’s program invited our Master of Business and Science (MBS) students to join us for a summer barbecue!

At the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program, we recognize that learning extends beyond the classroom. We encourage our graduates to become lifelong learners by staying on top of industry trends, reskilling, and upskilling. To facilitate this, we hosted a Day of Learning—a chance to give MBS alumni and scientific professionals new perspectives and ideas. 

On January 24^th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program hosted a special lunch session for our international students. It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome newcomers and reconnect with current students before the semester picks up pace. Our usual classroom setting at the SERC building transformed into a vibrant global space, decorated with flags from various countries, celebrating the diversity of our student community.

This year, we invited our students to celebrate the holidays with us! On December 19^th, we held our annual holiday celebration at the Rutgers Inn and Conference center. Our MBS community of students, staff, faculty, and alumni gathered in a heated tent for some delicious hors d'oeuvres and mingling before transition to a dinner inside the Inn.  

October means one thing – Halloween is creeping up on us! On October 4th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program got into the spooky spirit with a scary movie night at the Rutgers Inn. With Halloween right around the corner, students gathered for a night filled with suspense and good company.
