At the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program, we recognize that learning extends beyond the classroom. We encourage our graduates to become lifelong learners by staying on top of industry trends, reskilling, and upskilling. To facilitate this, we hosted a Day of Learning—a chance to give MBS alumni and scientific professionals new perspectives and ideas.
On January 24th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program hosted a special lunch session for our international students. It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome newcomers and reconnect with current students before the semester picks up pace. Our usual classroom setting at the SERC building transformed into a vibrant global space, decorated with flags from various countries, celebrating the diversity of our student community.
This year, we invited our students to celebrate the holidays with us! On December 19th, we held our annual holiday celebration at the Rutgers Inn and Conference center. Our MBS community of students, staff, faculty, and alumni gathered in a heated tent for some delicious hors d'oeuvres and mingling before transition to a dinner inside the Inn.
October means one thing – Halloween is creeping up on us! On October 4th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program got into the spooky spirit with a scary movie night at the Rutgers Inn. With Halloween right around the corner, students gathered for a night filled with suspense and good company.
On September 13th, the Professional Science Master’s program kicked off the fall semester with an in-person social event at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center. Master of Business and Science (MBS) students and alumni gathered for an afternoon of barbecue, delicious food, and engaging conversation.
Right off Route 202 in Readington, New Jersey, lies a 25-acre farm brewery. On June 6th, Master of Business and Science (MBS) alumni gathered to connect, mingle, and enjoy beer at Readington Brewery and Hop Farm.
In the ever-evolving landscape of business and science, the Professional Science Master’s program encourages our students to become lifelong learners. As part of this mission, we provide our students and alumni with opportunities for networking and professional development. Recently, we invited members of our Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) to learn alongside MBS students, alumni, staff, and faculty.
At the Professional Science Master’s program, we are always on the lookout for exciting events to keep our students engaged. And this time, we closed out February with a thrilling movie night featuring a cyberattack story.
Students in the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program know that we push them to reach new heights and step outside their comfort zones. All Master of Business and Science students finish their degrees by completing a Capstone project, where they work in groups to choose an intellectual property and develop a business plan to take it to market.
