At the Professional Science Master’s program, we aim to equip our Master of Business and Science (MBS) students with cutting-edge education to help them succeed in the workplace.

On November 30^th, 2022, ChatGPT launched and undeniably changed the workforce. With over 100 million users active weekly, this large language model-based chatbot launched a new era of artificial intelligence (AI) innovation across industries.  

According to data.ai’s recent report, a record $533 billion U.S. dollars was spent on mobile across app stores and advertising in 2023, and the number is expected to grow. This booming market provides opportunities across various industries, making mobile app development a valuable skill for job-seekers. 

The world is changing at an unprecedented rate, and the Professional Science Master’s program is committed to preparing students for the modern workforce. As part of this mission, we frequently reevaluate our curriculum to ensure we equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. For students in our Personal Care Science concentration, we’ve introduced the new course, Special Topics: New Technologies in Personal Care Science.

In the Professional Science Master’s program, our courses are designed to prepare students for success. This week, we’re highlighting a newer addition to our catalog—the course Alcoholic Beverage Regulation: Wine, Beer, and Spirits.  

At the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program, we carefully consider industry trends and workforce demands when preparing our students for the future.

The Professional Science Master’s program, and by extension, the Master of Business and Science  (MBS) degree, are superb opportunities for any working professional looking to expand their knowledge of business and science and connect with others looking to do the same. One specific course tailored to help students achieve these goals is called Principles of Communication and Leadership.

To facilitate experiential learning, Master of Business and Science (MBS) students finish their degrees by completing a Capstone. This project-based course serves as a culmination of skills learned throughout a student’s time in the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program. 

In this course, students demonstrate their ability to combine science and business thinking. They:
