On May 7th, 2026, the MBS team was thrilled to welcome our October 2025, January 2026, and May 2026 MBS graduates for a celebratory dinner at the Rutgers Club.
Located on Livingston Campus, the Rutgers Club offered a beautiful background where graduates could meet and mingle with their peers, professors, and other MBS staff members. We also offered a photo booth for attendees!
Last week, students in the Master of Business and Science course, “Capstone,” presented their final projects to a panel of judges. Presentations took place in a hybrid format at the Science and Engineering Resource Center on Busch Campus. Students, judges, and MBS faculty joined both online and in person.

Experiential learning is a cornerstone of the Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program, encouraging students to apply their knowledge outside of the classroom.
The Rutgers Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program recently hosted its Spring 2026 Externship Lightning Talk Presentations, a signature event of the Rutgers MBS Externship Program, held virtually via Zoom on April 21 and April 28, 2026. With over 300 participants in attendance, the event brought together students, faculty, mentors, and industry partners to celebrate a semester of collaboration, innovation, and real-world impact.
On April 25, 2026, the Master of Business and Science (MBS) Degree Program joined the Rutgers Day celebrations with a booth at the Busch Student Center Multipurpose Room. The table was hosted by Constance Anders Woolley, Senior Program Coordinator for Admissions and Enrollment, Alexandra Sollena, Administrative Assistant for Admissions and Enrollment, Brenda Rodriguez, Student Success and Engagement Specialist, Lars Sorensesen, Cybersecurity Coordinator, and MBS student workers, who welcomed visitors, answered questions, and shared information about the program.
On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program hosted a Happy Hour for MBS students and alumni of all concentrations. This event brought together the MBS community, creating an opportunity for interdisciplinary networking and community building. Dr. Jay Goldring, MBS Assistant Professor, also joined the evening to mingle.
On Friday, April 10, 2026, the Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program hosted a Virtual Friday session over Zoom featuring Joe Moore, a LinkedIn Learning professional specializing in higher education partnerships. This session, hosted by MBS Assistant Director and Executive Coach Abbe Rosenthal, is part of our Virtual Friday series.
The Master of Business and Science (MBS) degree program hosted a mixer for our students, alumni, faculty, and Industrial Advisory Board members. Held at the Zimmerli Art Museum, one of the largest and most distinguished university-based museums in the country, it was an evening of insightful conversations, meaningful connections, and leadership development.
