This month, we’re shining the spotlight on MBS alumni

On May 23^rd, 2024, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program expressed our appreciation for our wonderful Externship mentors and corporate partners by inviting them to dinner at the Zimmerli Art Museum in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Congratulations to all Master of Business and Science (MBS) students who completed the Capstone course this semester!  

At the Professional Science Master’s program, we aim to equip our Master of Business and Science (MBS) students with cutting-edge education to help them succeed in the workplace.

On May 9th, the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program brought together faculty, staff, and students to celebrate our recent October 2023, January 2024, and May 2024 graduates. The night was more than just a celebration of academic achievement; it was a culmination of hard work, a reflection of growth, and a look toward a bright future.

The graduation dinner began with an outdoor reception, where our graduates had the chance to reconnect with classmates and catch up with their professors.

The New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) stands as the premier professional association for the cosmetics and personal care sector in the New York tri-state area. Annually, the organization hosts the highly anticipated NYSCC Suppliers’ Day, a flagship event renowned as a cornerstone of the North American beauty industry calendar. This year, the event took place on May 1-2 in New York City at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, marking its largest edition ever in the 45-year history.

In an era of data-driven decision-making, a team of MBS Externship Exchange students took on a puzzle from CGI, one of the largest IT and business consulting firms in the world.

At the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program, we have a large community of dedicated alumni. Our alumni span geographic locations and industries, and they frequently look for ways to give back to the PSM program.  

On November 30^th, 2022, ChatGPT launched and undeniably changed the workforce. With over 100 million users active weekly, this large language model-based chatbot launched a new era of artificial intelligence (AI) innovation across industries.  

One of the popular features of the Rutgers Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program is our Externship Exchange Program, a cornerstone of experiential learning. On April 16th and 23rd, 2024, Dr. Karen Bemis, Assistant Director MBS Externship Exchange Program, and the team of Advisors hosted the Spring 2024 Externship Lighting Talks.
